Call for innovative proposals. Opportunity to win £10,000!
The importance of screening and effectively managing malnutrition in clinical practice has been recently highlighted again with the publication of NICE Quality Standard 24, Nutrition Support in Adults.
This year the BAPEN Nutricia award (supported by the Malnutrition Action Group) is looking for exciting proposals which investigate innovative ideas to practically manage adult malnutrition across health or social care settings. The proposal should aim to demonstrate the value of screening and managing malnutrition using oral nutrition support strategies, with at least an element of the work conducted in the community.
The prize of £10,000 will be awarded to fund the proposed piece of work. The winner will be invited to present their proposed project at the BAPEN 2013 annual conference (26th - 27th November), and then to present their findings at the 2014 annual conference.
Representatives from BAPEN and Nutricia will judge the applications and the award will be presented at the BAPEN annual conference 2013 (26th – 27th November).
The closing date for applications is the 27th September 2013
