To mark its 25th year in 2012, PINNT has produced its first ever Annual Review – ‘Adapting to Life on Artificial Nutrition at Home’. This records not only the charity’s successes and achievements but also spells out clearly its mission and aims for the future.

Carolyn Wheatley, Chair of PINNT, says: “PINNT has achieved so much - being there for members; being able to offer that listening ear; providing practical guides that enable people reach their own goals.

Through PINNT we have brought together a family who are able to empathise and offer genuine advice which has contributed to people adapting more easily to life on home enteral or parenteral feeding. Together we are able to guide people so they can make informed choices about how they can live their lives, or support their loved ones at home on these complex therapies.

As we move forward and focus on what else we need to achieve in the changing climate of homecare, our Annual Review demonstrates our achievements, whilst also encouraging more people to support our work and help us achieve our agenda. Already we are establishing more regional and local groups but we need more resources to maintain this momentum.

PINNT is seeking support and funding in as many different areas as we can to support our continued development. Thank you to everyone who has helped us so far – please do continue to help us along our journey.”

PINNT’s Annual Review 2012-13 is available to view and download from the Home Page of the charity’s website
