BAPEN and MTF are absolutely delighted to announce the dates for UK Malnutrition Awareness Week 2020, which will take place this year from 5th – 12th October.

Since it was established three years ago, the week has always had ambitions aims. In raising the profile of malnutrition in the UK, we hope to help members of the public better recognise the signs of possible malnutrition and encourage health and social care professionals to prioritise screening. We are also very keen that the government, policy makers and third sector organisations understand what they can do to join the fight against malnutrition.

This week will come towards the end of a difficult year for so many of us. We hope to give impetus and support to those reaching out to at risk members of the community. We also intend to celebrate the work of those who already do so much to combat malnutrition.
