Anne Mensforth Awarded MBE in Queen's Birthday Honours List

BAPEN would like to congratulate Anne Mensforth, a former member of the BAPEN NGSIG, on being recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List and receiving an MBE for services to dietetics.

We recognise the devotion that Anne has displayed to dietetics, particularly through her commitment to improving the safety and understanding of home enteral feeding (HEF).

As part of the NGSIG, Anne was an inspiration to her colleagues. Her determination to improve the nutrition, hydration, and medical care of patients through nasogastric tube therapy continues to be.

BAPEN President, Dr Trevor Smith, commented: “I am delighted to congratulate Anne on her thoroughly deserved recognition in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. She has played a pivotal role as a PENG representative within the BAPEN NGSIG, doing incredible work to increase professional understanding of nasogastric tube therapy.”
