The BAPEN Strategy

At the 2022 BAPEN Conference, we were delighted to announce our new five-year strategy. Our vision is to ensure every individual receives safe, timely and appropriate nutritional care in every care setting, every day.

Our new strategy for 2022-2027 sets out ambitious plans for growth in membership, reach, impact, knowledge, and longevity for BAPEN. This strategic plan will inform our practice, our ways of operating, the values which define our culture, and our future direction as an organisation.

The full BAPEN Strategy is available to read here.

We also encourage you to watch the Strategy video here.

BAPEN is seeking candidates for the post of Shadow Secretary

It is an exciting time to be joining the BAPEN team as we work to implement our recently launched five-year strategy that sets out ambitious plans for growth in membership, reach, impact, knowledge, and longevity for BAPEN, and together with the friendly and supportive wider BAPEN Executive team, the Secretary will play a key role in this.

This honorary post, working alongside the current Secretary, Dr Dan Rogers, usually lasts for six months, to allow the successful individual to learn about BAPEN and gradually take on more responsibility, leading to taking over as BAPEN Secretary for a three-year term.
