BAPEN is inviting applications for the position of Professional Affairs Officer, an opportunity to join BAPEN’s Executive Team and provide leadership to clinical nutritionists across the UK.
As Professional Affairs Officer, you will play a key role in matters relating to ‘MUST’ licensing and engaging key stakeholders to BAPEN’s Professional offerings. You will also support BAPEN’s newly introduced Mentoring and Coaching Programmes, attend BAPEN’s Executive meetings and be willing to act as a spokesperson for the charity at national forums.
This role is currently held by Dr Jane Fletcher, who we are proud to announce has been appointed BAPEN’s new President Elect. On her experience in this advertised position, she shared the following:
“This is a fantastic opportunity to join our central BAPEN team and represent clinical nutrition professionals from all across the UK. Your leadership and advice will be critical in supporting our provision of the ‘Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool’ (‘MUST’) and spearheading the mentoring relationships we launched earlier this year. I’d invite anyone interested to send in an application and we can’t wait to hear from you!”
