BAPEN is delighted to see that PENG has won Specialist Group of the Year for Projects and Impact at the 2025 British Dietetic Association (BDA) Awards.

Nearly 100 people attended the BDA Awards and Honours ceremony this week in Birmingham, which brought together leaders and innovators in the dietetic field. PENG was awarded for their outstanding PENG e-Pocket Guide, which is a sustainable project making a real impact on both dietitians and the planet. The group’s strong engagement with students and new graduates has helped elevate the profile of dietetics, while impressive collaborations across specialist groups has highlighted the value of sharing knowledge and working together.

Dr Nick Thompson, BAPEN President, commented,

“Huge congratulations to PENG for being recognised as Specialist Group of the Year at the 2025 BDA Awards.
