BAPEN members are entitled to block membership of ESPEN! ESPEN membership runs from 1st January to 31st December, and can be applied for via the online form.
The Block membership subscription fees for 2025 are as follows (available to BAPEN members only – join BAPEN):
- Regular membership: £78.00 per member
- Junior membership: £35.00 per member
This category applies for those under the age of 35 (born in 1986 or after) - Senior membership: £35.00 per member
This category applies to members over the age of 65 (born in 1956 or before)
Please note that we have to submit all membership through to ESPEN before the end of January – therefore, we cannot guarantee that forms received after this time will be accepted.
- a discount on registration at the main annual congress in the field, i.e. the ESPEN Congress on Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism to be held in Prague on 13-16 September 2025. This discount is not valid for those registering to the congress as “Students”. To register to the congress as a member, kindly provide upon registration your 8-digit personal discount code to be found in the 1st paragraph of the text of your confirmation of subscription email
- reduced rates for registration and/or priority access for participation in other ESPEN organized/endorsed meetings (course, symposium or workshops) to be held in 2025 (see our website for updates on scheduled meetings)
- a free online subscription to the best journal in clinical nutrition and metabolism Clinical Nutrition and its sister journal Clinical Nutrition ESPEN. Access to this journal is an easy process by login-in on espen.org with your member username and password.
- a discount for submitting articles to Clinical Nutrition Open Science, ESPEN’s open access journal (https://www.clinicalnutritionopenscience.com)
- the ESPEN Newsletter
- reduced rates for the LLL Live Modules – these courses aim at a certificate in clinical nutrition and/or becoming a teacher in clinical nutrition in your own country. ESPEN membership is required to become (and remain) an LLL Teacher
- access to lectures from previous ESPEN congresses
- access to LLLnutrition.com with same username and password
- access to Research Fellowship Grants and Educational Grants
- access to Travel Fellowship grants for communications at the annual congress
