Help needed with BMJOG topic collection: Advancing Nutritional Support in Hospitals

BAPEN members are invited to submit papers for a themed collection on the topic of ‘Advancing Nutritional Support in Hospitals’, to be published by BMJ Open Gastroenterology, the open access companion journal to Gut and Frontline Gastroenterology, published by BMJ Group in partnership with BSG. The journal has an impact factor of 3.3 (JCR 2024) and a CiteScore of 5.9 (Scopus 2024).

The topic collection aims to promote ongoing advancements and best practice for clinical teams in providing optimal nutritional support for patients during their hospital stays, improving care and outcomes. The guest editors are Dr Nick Thompson, BAPEN president, Dr Trevor Smith, BAPEN past-president, and Dr Ally Speight. They welcome contributions of a wide range of article types, from original research studies and quality improvement reports to systematic and narrative reviews, as well as clinical guidelines.
