The Leeds course in Clinical Nutrition

A 3-day CPD short course specifically designed to provide a thorough grounding in all aspects of clinical nutrition. Aimed at all professionals with an interest in clinical nutrition including doctors, dieticians, clinicians, nursing staff, hospitals pharmacists and others with interest in patient nutrition.

pH-impedance in Practice

Venue: Kennedy Lecture Theatre, UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, London

The main aim of this course is to support physicians and nurses to develop their skills and understand both the clinical application and indications for reflux monitoring with the pH-impedance study.

In the practical session, the trainees will have the opportunity for hands-on analysis, to read and report on a variety of case studies. The attendees will then be able to discuss and compare their findings with the trainers.

Practical Management of Food Allergy in Children

Practical Parenteral Nutrition Study Day

Venue: UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, London

The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the use, limitations, composition and complications of parenteral nutrition. The course will allow for a discussion of the 2018 ESPGHAN/ESPEN parenteral nutrition guidelines, the use of standard bags in neonates and in older children, and the aims and objectives of using parenteral nutrition treatment.

15th in a series of annual courses designed specifically for General Paediatric Trainees, Consultants and allied professionals as well as those specialised, or have an interest, in Paediatric Gastroenterology.

The course is led and delivered by a team of paediatricians, gastroenterologists and allied professionals with considerable experience in the clinical care of these conditions and delivery of education. The course aims to provide up to date and practical strategies for the diagnosis and management of common and challenging gastrointestinal disorders that face the paediatric team.

The UKSRG comprises clinicians and researchers from a wide range of professional disciplines including biomedical engineering, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, radiography, radiology, ENT, gastroenterology, stroke medicine, dietetics, oral health, general medicine and neurology.
