BAPEN opens registrations for the 2026 Annual Conference

We are delighted to announce that registrations have opened for the BAPEN 2026 Annual Conference, taking place 10 – 11th November 2026 at the Bournemouth International Centre. Take advantage of early-bird registration rates by signing up now, and begin planning your full event experience.

You can now also submit abstracts for consideration to showcase your work at this year’s conference via poster or oral presentations.

We will also be offering BAPEN Travel Grants to support students and first-time submitters.

The BAPEN Programmes Committee has curated an impressive line-up of speakers who are leading in the field of clinical nutrition, who will share the latest best practice, emerging evidence, and innovations shaping the field. Delegates will have the opportunity to put questions directly to speakers during live sessions across both days, as well as network with colleagues from across the UK.

Highlights include:

  • Dr Trevor Smith, former BAPEN President, presenting the Pennington Lecture, sharing insights from his career in clinical nutrition and the impact of his work on patient outcomes.
  • The launch of a brand-new feature for 2026: the Clinical Nutrition Skills Exchange, an interactive space designed to support hands-on learning and professional development for all members of the multidisciplinary team
  • An exciting new format for the BAPEN 2026 Conference Social is also in development, with more details to be announced soon,
