BAPEN is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2026 Todorovic-Micklewright Award are now open. This award recognises an individual or team who have made an outstanding practical contribution to nutrition support through education, innovation or service improvement.
The award is presented in honour of Ann Micklewright and Vera Todorovic, two pioneering figures in the nutrition space who were integral in the development of the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (‘MUST’) and the first UK home enteral feeding register, which provided the foundations for the British Artificial Nutrition survey (BANs). This award embodies their personalities of being people and patient focused, knowledgeable, innovative and solution driven.
All nominations will be judged by a multidisciplinary panel of nutritional experts drawn from the BAPEN Faculty. The winning work will be awarded with a framed certificate and the fantastic opportunity to present their award-winning work at BAPEN Conference 2026, in Bournemouth on the 10–11 November.
For further information on the background of the award and how to apply go to the BAPEN Awards page and select the Todorovic-Micklewright Award section.
