BAPEN Student Representative Positions Now Open for Applications

BAPEN has opened applications for student representative positions across a multitude of BAPEN committees and groups. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for students to contribute to BAPEN’s work, share their perspectives, and help support the development of nutrition practice, education and professional engagement as part of a national organisation. Student representatives will help to ensure BAPEN workstreams are collaborative, inclusive and informed by the views of healthcare professionals at all stages of their career. Applications are open for student representative positions across BAPEN’s Groups, Committees and Special Interest Groups.

The voluntary one-year role involves contributing to committee discussions, decision making and relevant workstreams, with an expected time commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month. It is an opportunity to develop skills in areas such as collaboration, leadership and communication, while contributing to national workstreams, policy and guidance.

Applicants should be student or pre-registration healthcare professionals, with at least 12 months remaining on their degree programme at the time of application, and be members of BAPEN.
